This notice explains how Villa Osterreich Resort in Matabungkay, Lian, Batangas, Philippines uses information on this website and its linked payment page. For privacy questions, contact info@voresort.com.
Your stay inquiry
When you send an inquiry, we receive your name, email address, optional mobile number, requested dates, number of guests and children, and any notes you choose to include. We use these details to respond, check availability, plan rooms and help arrange your stay. They are recorded for our authorized booking team. Our authorized team may also receive your inquiry in the resort email inbox. Your email address allows them to reply directly. Sending an inquiry does not reserve rooms.
If you continue to the payment page, your payment choice, amount, reference and any proof you upload are used to check the payment and handle your booking. Please avoid including unrelated personal information in notes or payment screenshots.
Optional website analytics
Selecting “Accept” in the privacy bar allows us to record website visits, inquiry-form activity and clicks to Messenger. These reports help us understand how people find and use the website. They include the referral category, device type, approximate country or region, timestamps and random browser and session identifiers. The service stores hashed versions of those identifiers.
These analytics records do not include your name, email address, mobile number, inquiry text or raw IP address. If you select “Decline”, optional analytics are disabled. You can still browse, send an inquiry and arrange a stay.
Browsers, hosting and security
We use browser storage to remember your privacy choice. If you accept analytics, it also stores a random visitor identifier and a session identifier. Session grouping expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Declining analytics removes these analytics identifiers from this browser.
If you switch between the seasonal and classic website appearance, we remember that choice in this tab’s session storage. This appearance preference is not sent to our server and is separate from optional analytics.
Our hosting and booking service providers process information needed to deliver the website, store inquiries, send internal inquiry notifications and protect the service against misuse. Our booking team uses an authenticated Backoffice. Network information may also be processed by hosting and security providers when a page or form is requested; the optional analytics reports are separate from those technical operations.
Keeping and removing information
Inquiry, booking and payment records are kept to handle stays, resolve questions and maintain business records. There is currently no fixed automatic deletion period for these records or the website analytics records. Archiving an expired inquiry keeps its record while removing it from the active booking list.
You can ask us to access, correct or remove your personal information, or raise an objection to its use, by emailing info@voresort.com. We will review your request, including any records we need to keep for an ongoing booking, payment issue or applicable record-keeping obligation. You can also contact the Philippine National Privacy Commission.
Your privacy choice
Use “Privacy settings” in the website footer to change your analytics choice at any time. Declining stops new optional analytics from this browser; it does not automatically erase records already received. Your choice applies to this browser and website address, so another browser or device may ask again.
Links to other services
When you follow a link to Facebook, Messenger or Google Maps, that service handles your visit under its own privacy terms. This website’s analytics choice applies to our optional website reports.
